FG approves N679.067m Tetfund Allocation for College

This is to inform the entire College community that the Federal Government has approved the release of the sum of Six Hundred and seventy Nine million, six hundred and seventy thousand naira only (679.067m) to Adeyemi College of Education, (ACE), Ondo.

The amount is meant for the year 2016 Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Intervention for execution of projects in the institution.

In a statement conveying the information to the Provost of the College, Professor Olukoya Joseph Ogen which was sent through a memo with reference No: TETF/ES/COE/AL2016/Vol.XVIII, dated 20th February, 2017, the Executive Secretary of TETFUND, Dr.  A.B. Baffa (Phd) said, “Dear Provost further to the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) and in line with the provision of Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act 2011, I write to inform you of the allocation of intervention funds to your institution for the year 2016.”

The breakdown of the allocation of the fund is as follows:

Academic Staff Training and Development              - 200.00m

Library Development                                                 - 30.00m                                 

Conference Attendance                                             - 25.00m                                                       

Teaching Practice                                                      - 12.00m                                                                                              

Institution Based Research                                        - 10.00m

ICT Support                                                               - 10.00m

Academic Research Journal                                     - 10.00m

Tetfund Project Maintenance                                    - 8.00m

Academic Manuscript Development                         - 3.00m

Total                              =                          679.067m

 The modalities for accessing the allocated funds have commenced inearnest.
